Timothy Sandoval started his reporting career at The State Hornet, Sacramento State's student newspaper, where he worked on numerous stories and projects. His has also written for California Watch, A Project of the Center for Investigative Reporting, covering elections, state government, and helping reporters with data. He is a 2011 Campus Coverage Project alumnus, and the winner of the Sacramento Press Club's $6,000 Earl "Squire" Behrens award. He will graduate in 2012 from Sacramento State.
